2014... oh and February

I'm so sorry for well not writing anything... starting up was a bit harder than expected (dang that sleepy heart of mine) juggling work, sickness, snow and movies into a pot.. well lets just say i haven't been big on the movie part...

so the beginning of a new year... what should it really be about... i believe it is about reflecting the year that has just past and changing whatever you feel like need changing.. so that is kinda what i have been doing.. or at least trying to do... and it may have come across my hobby as a moviemuncher... i dunno.. it's not like i have been putting it on ice.. i have watched a few movies and i'm nearing the end of Crossing Jordan... and there have been occasionally Simpsons episodes crossing my screen so yeah.. its just that other things have been more pressing than writing about these things.. like seeing friends and catching up with old ones so they might become close friends once again.. yeah that is what my 2014 has been about so far...

now the movie world... well oh cause i was in the movies and watch The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug What kind of moviemuncher would i be if i had not seen that one.. i loved it btw exept the ending.. that was just cruelty on a high level and yes i have had the song I See Fire stuck in my head pretty much ever since...

of ongoing movies in the theater there is not one where i'm like I HAVE TO GO SEE IT but i am looking forward to setting my eyes on Frozen and Rio 2... catching fire is also one on my wanna watch list but a friend of mine had already seen it and advised me to wait until the next part comes out

unto the universe of upcoming movice.. well my besties is convinced that i just have to watch Lego Movie... i'm not in the same state of convinced that he is but we'll see.. To be honest i'm not good at getting scoop on what is gonna show up in this year so i'm slightly cheating by looking at a list for upcomming movies... well at least i have watch the trailers for them..

oh Pompeii is gonna come in march.. that looked so awesome when i watched the trailer and yeah i kinda dig historical movies.. i am afraid though that this one might be too romantic and well it is a risk... the book thief where did i stumble upon that one before.. looked promising i remember that much...

other than that it is not much.. sure i am gonna watch the new x-men at some point.. right after i get my act together and watch the new wolverine..

but here is some i don't need to find at a list to tell you that i can't wait to see... i have snooped up (well someone told me) that they are making a Veronica Mars Movie... uh uh uh can you say want? i absolutely looooooved the series and i was so sad about them cancelling season 4.. it was so much better than Buffy... anywho the old crew have been found to make this movie happen and yeah if it shows in theater around here in small and slightly dull DK i'm soooo there.. and i'll bring along a nice friend ;)

then there is how to train your dragon 2... well since i watched the first one over 20 times in a single december it is a no brainer that i have to watch the second one.. so yeah that one is on my list...

then there is only left to wait until the next hobbit arrives and that we reach 2016 to say Hi to the lovely Captain Jack Sparrow and of cause that they finish making the Finding Dory movie.. like it is Dory.. who doesn't love her? 

oh right it's Christmas

so if i have any regulars (i get a feeling i at least have a few) it is more than obvious that i have been anywhere but around here lately... thing is i have been en school since October and as it is that means a couple of exams in the ending of this month... i finished last Thursday with awesome grades BTW so it is all gooooood...

now it is 3 days from Christmas eve and yeah i have not really found the holiday mood yet... but i will get there i'm sure... at least i'm not tired of Christmas like i usually am... but i am spending a few days at home before my shift on the 23 in the company of family sort of anyway..

on the note of make believe world.. well due to exams i have not spend that much time roaming around in that world.. sure i have watch my weekly Lost Girl but on the other hand am i hopelessly behind on both Castle and The Good Wife... been watching a lot of Crossing Jordan lately though.. turns out i can study and semi rewatch that one at the same time... also i kinda lost track of the movies i have been watching lately so the list in my linklist is only updated until the 1st of November... so well yeah kinda lost meaning to the project but hey it is all fun and games right..

Anywho... basically i just wanted to wish people a merry Christmas since it is not likely for me to get anything watched or me getting online before Christmas eve so.. the i said it.. tuddles :P

Finally!... wait whaa?

Lost Girl premiere sometime between my sunday and my monday midday... i or well my body had for some reason decided that i should be sick and then i decided that cooking chicken in that state would be one of the more bad ideas... so i was staying in bed and after getting a couple of hours of sleep my head at least was sort of playing along.. so i went to go see myself to a bit of qi and then i realized that oh oh Lost Girl had aired..

YEAH ME!!! 

now i feel somewhat obliged into putting this little beauty in... 

not the prettiest thing but you'll get the point

so we start of with Kenzi in awesome clothes and some sparkly sparkly abilities..úber cool.. and then after a short while things just starts acting wrong.. like seriously we all know that Hale is over the hill into Kenzi and that wolfman has given his heart to Bo... so when the Kenziest Kenzi starts snogging Wolfman it is just WRONG... sexy but wrong.. and then Vex had turned extra evil... and here i was thinking he was kinda cool when he was almost good... and the trick and Aife... also that one left me on a high note wondering if she actually killed gramps or what... and i miss Tamsin.. and and and... WHY did lovely dr. hotpants end up a brunette.. just why? 

well that was a lot of spoilers.. i am almost sorry.. anywho... i'm gonna get my head stuck between reading up on food and watching Crossing Jordan.. Cheers

Today seems to be a bad day...

so it is early evening i finished my dinner and i just felt like i dunno watching a movie maybe... i go online i jump to my movie site and tadaaaa... i get a notice that the site is blocked in my country... now i know it is not netflix and i do think i should get around getting an account but.. i don't have one yet and tonight wasn't really the day i was planning on getting it either..

so what does this girl do... well like any other sensible person she gets an vpn in work and go to the site again.. wee the site is unblocked... bad thing is..

oh Castle is back on.. all right Castle has been on for little over a month since i am the lucky one to see episode 5 today.. i know hopelessly behind here.. anywho last week i did a double up on Castle since i wanted to wait until i got my new laptop.... oh oh oh... this is the first post i do from this shiny new beast..

where was i.. oh right Castle.. (procastination everyone) in episode 3: Need to Know... it ends off with lovely couple Castle and Beckett sitting in the sofa talking... so here it is..

I WANT THAT BLOUSE!!!!

thing is i'm not a skinny girl.. and you know what i'm more than fine with that.. however nature did decide that normal body type wasn't the thing for me oh no.. i have the major curvies making it nearly impossible for me to wear basically anything that isn't around 2 or 3 sizes to big.. i could go get something that would fit on a normal curved girl my size but there is a small issue of me being slightly keen on actually breathing.. i know so stupid of me... anyway i have to stay clear of certain types of clothe so i don't look like a smurf trying to escape a mental institution (nice picture don't you think)

even giving these slight dress-code problems i very rarely envy others their body or for that fact hate my own.. not saying there are not days where i think it all sucks just that i have come to term with the phrase:

"Yeah i'm big... and you know what I DON'T CARE cause I'm beautiful just like that"

good on me right... but but but that blouse.. seriously! it is needless to say that i do think Stana has the most adorable smile and an absolute killer body to go with it.. this blouse they put her in just makes it all that more yummy and... well it is actually a rare occasion for me to go so girly in it at want a blouse.. very very rare..

Angela's Eyes (2006)

The episode i'm on shouldn't in my current series didn't work...  so i had to occupy my time with something else and for some reason movies didn't seem all that interesting. so what is a girl to do.. well went on my wanna watch list and took a look on the series i put on it. Just for laughs (or something) i can tell that at writing moment it is on the small amount of 315 series... so yeah i went to the bottom of the list (seems easier since it has a bad habit of growing) and took a look.. and there it was Angela's Eyes

oh you never head of this one.. not that surprising... Angela's Eyes only aired one season back in 2006 and well i encountered a fair share of bad words about it... anywho i found it intriguing and why not watch it then? 

What is it about uhm well.. you have Angela, she's a FBI agent in a ehm special unit working with tough guy Leo and well geek boy Dozer... Angela is a kinda special agent though.. you see she can tell if you are lying (well on most parts) oh and she is the daughter of 2 of US's biggest traitors.. oh goodie

and nope there's no trailer for you this time.. there might be a few clips on youtube but what i have seen so far they aren't all that good at giving an idea on what this stuff is about..

anywho... i rather like the concept of this series.. reminds me of a nice mix between Alias and Lie To Me... i do give it people are right about the acting part however i am one of those extremely gifted people that can look beyond that fact if the story is good enough.. thing is that i since i was a little kid has been able to live myself into a story so full hearted that people sometimes makes fun and tell me i'm cute while watching stuff with me (or if i talk about it with them) because i am lost in it.. if the movie is interesting enough it is not possible to talk with me during it.. i just won't be listening.. anyway i got a bit of this while watching Angela's Eyes.. the story caught on something and i would have loved to see where the story would have gone after season 1.. this was however not to be and well i'm not gonna lye around crying about it.. there are a lot of other series that are better...

what this series did the most though was reminding me just how much i miss Lie To Me... sniffles...

Black Swan (2010)

So back to movie land... it's been a sort of long vacation for me as i have been doing series for quite a while now... actually have a post waiting to be finished... anywho... went to the bottom of my wanna-watch list (yes i'm weird like that) and there i found Black Swan. Litterally been on there for ages(well you know) and i have been told it would be a good watch... thing is i'm not overly happy about Natalie Portman whereas my buddy is a huge fan... Mila Kunis on the other hand i find kinda cool.. but the movie is clearly about Portman's role... soo yeah takes me a while sometimes...

anyway Black Swan... Well who doesn't know the story about the Swan Lake? okay i will tell but just because i can.. The Swan Lake is about a Princess turning into a white swan.. only way to turn her back is the true love stuff and when mister right turns up he is seduced by evil sister the black swan... making the white swan sad enough to commit suicide... sorry for spoilers there

Now that we got that down lets go on to the movie.. Black Swan is about a NY ballet group that are going to start the season with an interpretation of the Swan Lake... (swan lake is produced a lot in many many variations) For the production Nina is chosen for the lead role as both the white and the black swan.. However where her White Swan is perfect she is struggling a bit with the black swan. Mainly because she has trouble with letting herself go...

oh yeah right have to talk about it to.. well ehm where to start.. the movie isn't bad.. it is rather weird than anything else.. i do get what is going on in it though.. Nina is clearly a troubled young woman.. she has been psychology abused by her mom.. not in a deliberately mean way though.. Nina's mom just been living her dreams through her daughter in an extend that makes Nina strive to be absolutely perfect.. a thing most of us know to be impossible... giving this pressure to be perfect Nina's mind crumbles and she gets lost in various delusions (the fancy name for this is psychoses)...this is ultimately a struggle between her innocence and her desires. Or to link it to the ballet world her white and black swan.. thing is her innocence is not natural and only exist because of the constant pressure from her mom and the over protectiveness that comes of it.. underneath is the desires and fears of a young woman trying to be herself.. which i take is hard when mommy dearest tend to be sleeping in a chair next to your bed..

The movie does come with an interesting concept and i did enjoy it for the most parts.. the ballet dancers helping with the movie did a good job and well the actors weren't half bad either.. and the music.. well i can really be a sucker for classical music so i was all happy there.. hm really should get my act together and try going to the ballet one of these days..
