United States of Tara (2009 - 2011)

United States of Tara is about Tara and her family.. and well the other sides of Tara. Tara has multiple personality disorder and along with her family she has decided to drop her meds as they make her drowsy and basically not herself. This of cause means that the personalities show up every now and then... so lets meet T, Alice and Buck. Tara's main sharers. T is a 16 year old horny teenager which only Tara's teenage girl find kinda fun as she can go shopping with her. Alice is a 30's housewife who is going for being perfect. And Buck well Buck likes to kick ass when Tara wont do it herself. All the personalities has a purpose, a way of protecting Tara. But family life isn't all that easy when half the time you can't remember what you have done or been saying.

I Love Toni Collette for making this. First of like wow the talent. Its one thing to play one character
on a show but to play four right of the start is nothing short of amazing. Anyway the show is funny and enlightening. It takes a fun spin on a psychological disorder an topic that tend to be taboo. All while showing a lot of other subjects that all in all makes a family.

So if you want a fun easy-going show with a pretty good and deserving topic this is one that truly deserve a look. It has a good flow and let you get a glimpse of what this disorder can do to a family.

enjoy :)

Home Sweet Hell (2015)

oh the summer has finally showed up.. and i have the day off so in the best danish summer style... it is raining... so i figured to go nuts in movie lands.. mainly because i just bought a new game i'm currently downloading so streaming cold case was out of the question... anywho movie...

so what i gathered from the trailer we have Don, a salesman very much under his wife's thumb. anyway he somehow ends up with a beautiful salesgirl on the floor (lets just say it as it is he hires the girl) and then for some reason she is just all over him and well lets just go with 2 times a year scheduled sex is not good for any relationship. The fun then starts when wifey finds out that Don has been fooling around (i love how polite that can sound) with salesgirl.. and the only solution to this problem is?... yes we have to kill the girl... because that is what any sound person would suggest.. yessir... erhem.. cue trailer anyone..

honestly i was kinda torn at first with the trailer... here we have sweet Katherine Heigl being well anything but sweet and the way the story if the movie seems to go according to the trailer there would be a lot of places it could go horribly wrong... so where was the turner? well this might not be a proud moment but well it seems to turn out fine so here goes.. i have had the hugest movie crush on Jordana Brewster for as long as i can recall... she is properly the place my movie crushes started.... meaning at a point of time i had actually literally watched every movie but one that she has been a part of... i am how ever falling behind as she has been moving in genres i don't watch all that much and therefor have not been adding to my wanna watch lists...  anywho... she showed up in the trailer and i went from hm i don't know... - straight to --> I NEED TO WATCH THIS!!!!!

ehm yeah not proud not proud at all....

so i watched... and you know what? i'm glad i did... there was some blah moments in the movie but in general it was quite interesting... it had humor but i don't think i would go all the way to comedy.. but hey that's how it goes... i can say one thing.. who knew Katherine could be so creepy.. like whaaa she just hit a 100 on creepy on a scale from 1 to 10... taking my hat of here... that was amazing... if for no other reasons you should watch this movie just to see that..

other than that it is just a straight forward story of a man getting set up blackmail and intangled in a rather insane logic of his wife when he tries to fix things a bit (really sometimes you just cant fix things) and then well you just have to see the movie to know the last part... Enjoy ;)

Being Erica (2009 - 2011)

Erica Strange's life sucks big time.. i mean she is 30 and just got fired from telemarketing for being to smart... oh and to top it all of her boyfriend is sorta breaking up with her over the phone in the middle of the rain... wauw.. Erica, sad and wet, seeks refuge in a cafe that offers her a free latte.. yeah... downside is Erica is allergic to nuts so a hazelnut mocha latte is usually a bad idea...

So all and all a pretty bad day... Waking up in the hospital she meets Dr. Tom, a Therapist. Erica is convinced she do not need a therapist... well until a little family get together gets a little much and Erica decides to escape through the window in her pajamas.. oh yes... and then we realize that Dr. Tom is not an ordinary therapist.. no he is a time traveling kinda therapist helping Erica to settle old scores with her regrets in life..

and all that it takes is to see the therapy to the end...

so i got recommendation for this one somewhere.. not sure where... doesn't matter either.. anywho... going into this i thought it was just a girly thing about a 30 something doing a kinda diary stile thing
... let's just say i got a bit of a surprise... i loved it though especially the concept of going back not to necessarily chance the past but to come to better terms with the regrets we all have.. like i wish i did this or i wish i didn't do that.. and learning on the way that the choices we make chances who we are.. it makes us and without these choices we would be some one else completely..

so conclusion is; this is a really awesome show and it is sad that it ended in 2011... could have done with just one more season but hey that's life right... it is still a pretty girly series though, but different... in a very good way.. ;)

200 mph (2011)

well i needed a break from the girly world.. i might love the chick flicks but it can get to much after a while.. just like pretty much anything else.. anyway got myself lost on the wanna watch list.. seriously how did it get so long? anywho started at the alphabetically top and went from there and well chose 200mph.. figured i could use some speed...

so 200 mph is about Rick a young man who lost his brother in a car accident during a street race. Following the aftermath Rick tries to settle the dept by racing the same guy his brother raced... so he team up with his friends to get his car up to the challenge in the course of a month. during this month though things starts to happen fast around Rick all to intimidate him... so well you get the picture right?

yeah that takes one of my list.. that would be progress just alittle over a thousand to go.. bloody h... anyway.. the movie the movie... the movie isn't bad it's not great either but still not bad.. it is predictable and well has a little to much odds for my liking.. and to be honest the climax of the movie truly sucked.. like big time.. it was not what i expected but it was not a good alternative so.. well.. but hey i got a few laughs and there were some cool cars.. but really wanna have speed and cool cars go find fast and furious.. it will give you a better treat....

Julie & Julia (2009)

uh lets take one from the shelf... i have been going through a small pet project of getting through my movieshelf.. can tell you that i'm near the first 50 movies... and i'm not even close to being halfway through.. ah it is good to be a moviemuncher...

so why Julie and Julia... well after watching a few action movies and not getting much done I figured that a movie about my subject would help.. thing is i'm in school at the moment and well the homework load is kinda high.. like way high.. like in i have even less social life than i do when i'm working... soo yeah well that would be why it has been a while since the last post.. anyway home work.. movies.. got a red string in this somewhere.. i hope..

Julie & Julia is about well Julie an almost 30 woman who feels stuck and uninspired at work and well only comfort she does have is cooking (i know that feeling)... then the thing happens.. the thing that puts everything in motion. One of Julies friends writes a horrible article and follows up with a blog.. Julie, who is in reality a writer who can't get published, is talking about that she could write a blog on her own... her boyfriend agrees and after a short assessment time they agree that Julie could write about cooking. Julie then decides that in order to actually stick to the blog she has to have a goal.. goal being going through all of the recipes in Julia Childs Cookbook. (which i'm kinda dying to get a hold of) in the course of one year.

so given this is on my shelf and i already clearly stated that i do not buy unless i like.. it would be fair to assume that this is one i love.. and i do..

as an aspiring cook myself (this would be the school part) i love pretty much everything about food.. much like Childs (or at least the portrait of her from the movie) i love the learning process the little tricks you get along the way and of recent even the designing of a plate (which i apparently have a small talent in) so the relations between both Julie and Julia is there for me.. and that it is a big big part of my love toward the movie

also i love the jump between Julie and Julia.. the thing is that both of them goes through a development throughout the movie.. Julie through her project and the small meltdowns along the way.. Julia through the process of first off getting allowed into the cooking courses in the first place (cooking like chefs were dominated by men...women was expected to stay home and look after their husbands and the itty bitty ones) and to starting the cookbook (which needed some reducing along the way) to actually being know and respected in the world of cooking.. and may i just add?... both Meryl Streep and Amy Adams are wonderful in this movie.. i do adore and admire both of them to begin with but that does not make this movie anything less..

well let's just end this with the wises words ever to be said...
It is ALL about the Butter!

The Art of Getting By (2011)

oh boy oh boy a real review...

sry for that... it has just been so dang long since i last wrote an actual review and not just random stuff popping up in my head. anywho shall we?

The Art of Getting By.... Well it is about George.. a social awkward teenager on his senior year. George is not big on school, homework or even assignments during class.. actually he is kinda weird with his head in the clouds or well the head is in a book looking over his amazing drawings that almost nobody ever get to see. Due to this lack of interest in school he get to see the principle quite often.. Anyway one day a girl hits up a conversation with him after school.. this girl being Sally.. Sally and George becomes really good friends.. but then as all good dramas go Georges life starts to crumple...

This was SOOOOO sweet...

okay now that i got that out of my system lets go over  the movie.. it is a normal teenage drama flick thing but like more and more of the recent ones of these, i believe it to have a really good story and background theme.. George is feeling this type of rude depressing feeling toward school.. like what does it all matter.. trust me i get this feeling.. it is like that these days we live to slave our way through life, first in school to learn stuff that we later can use to slave away in a job so that we can make money to live for,... he also goes about life like he doesn't have anything to say to the world, kinda like he feels like a parasite that just tag along for the ride.. when he meets Sally or well think it is the other way round... she noticed him, making him become someone that stands out of the crowd for once... and quite early in the movie you get the fact that while most people are scared of dying (this seems to be the normal anyway) he is not scared of that.. he is scared about life.. scared of living it.. and i think that is the true core of this movie.. about not being scared of life.. about a young man that has to learn to live life and to become something, SOMEONE..

so as my earlier statement kinda implied this is a really cute movie.. a really warm one to.. made me feel really good afterwards even though i did hit a bumpy passage here and there (I am NOT crying... that much) and i like that in a movie.. and Freddie Highmore that plays George is just plain adorable..

Oh and I have just come to realize that I am having a movie crush on Emma Roberts so-ehm guess I'm gonna roam around IMDb and figure out what to watch next ;)

Rookie Blue (2010 - ?)

oh dang it... so yeah Lost ended up on hold... i am almost sorry... or.. well it is YouTube's fault.. i swear...

Rookie Blue is about approximately 5 young police officers fresh out of the academy... we follow them on their everyday life which is quite ehm filled with dramas.. main goal for the young ones would be the mantra "Serve, Protect and don't screw up"

so like i said it is YouTube's fault.. no seriously it is... (i might be partially involved though).. anyway.. there was these videos floating around and in the end i just had to watch.. funny thing is the videos about Gail (the pretty blond with the nice blue eyes) was what drove me to the series and i just hated her guts in the first couple of seasons.. like really really hated her.. she was so mean all the time... but on the other hand.. she has awesome humor...

my view on it all though is that a little less drama could do but still a great show.. i was very much entertained (which i believe is the point of these things) and like i said awesome humor... and to be honest favorite scene is when Andy (the brunette) hugs Gail (the blond one) and Gail just says "this isn't really how i communicate" really couldn't stop laughing..

so there you got my weird sense of humor along with it there.. goodie.. i'm just gonna crawl into some warm place now and i dunno sleep.. later :)

40 days and 40 nights (2002)

Where are all the manly movies.. seriously it's been all chick flicks so far... :|

anyway 40 days and 40 nights is about this guy Matt who after a lot of encounters with the fairer sex and this feeling of utter emptiness inside decides that it would be a awesome idea to go into celibacy for 40 days straight. And if this is not a pretty much impossible task on its own here we go and ad Erica, the nice hot girl from the laundry mat, that Matt of cause falls in love with...

look i know that age wise this is a little off since it is about post college people meaning adults.. however this one has a special place with me because well i was 15 when this one came out.. and yes i have watched it a lot when i was younger.. it was actually a long time since i last saw it though and there was some scenes i had completely forgotten about. Anywho i do love the theme that it portraits because to me no normal person could ever live in absolute celibacy. People would go insane which Matt actually does in the movie.. not insane insane but insane enough (boy that sounded a little crazy) I even discuss this theme every now and then (i don't discuss that often though) that it is just wrong for the Catholic churches to ask this of their priest and in my opinion this celibacy thing might be at fault for some of the cases surfacing over the years about priest because it is about generally suppressing a huge part of what a human is.. anyway the movie is a great chick flick and it has good humor.. and a lot of cruel people not believing Matt can do this...

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

This is like the ultimate Teen Chick Flick... i mean.. I even forced my sister to watch this back when we was younger... it i
s a classic and even i know that Heath Ledger is a cutie...

ah the story of the Straford sisters... Kat and Bianca is sisters very different sisters... Kat is outspoken and not really into being nice to anyone.. Bianca on the other hand likes to be the center of attention. So why are we onto their story? well the Straford sisters are not allowed to date.. or well Kat is but she is not really into that stuff being as she is... Bianca is not thrilled by this since she really wants date. Daddy dearest comes up with the idea that Bianca can date when Kat does.. and here comes New guy into the picture. New guy Cameron is hopelessly in love with Bianca so he comes up with the plan of getting someone to date Kat so he can date Bianca... tadada Bad boy (played by Heath) comes in...

Like i said this is a classic and any girl ought to watch.. i mean it.. there is just so many bright moments in this one and yes i enter rollercoaster land on this one to.. i rarely admit it but i am such a girly girl sometime.. like come on my favorite romantic movie is 6 days and 7 nights.. anywho.. this is a funny and sweet movie and i have been recommending it for years...

oh wow this is the third post today and i'm already watching a new one.. someone got bitten by the movie muncher bug

Sherlock (2010 - ?)

after i finished Crossing Jordan i was asking a buddy of mine what i should watch next since i wasn't really in the mood for movies and my series list is quite long and hard to get a good overview of. He was like oh oh you have to watch Sherlock I'm sure you would love it... well my buddy knows me well...

we have all been exposed to the stories of sir Arthur Conan Doyle the brilliant writer of the Sherlock Holmes stories... and don't say you haven't... Sherlock has been filmatized so many times... even Disney did their try on it.. (Oh admit it you knew Basil Mouse is a spin off of the great master) and one of the newest hits in the line must be the work of one Robert Downey Jr.... yes i love his work too ;)

so what is it with this series... it is of a newer note due to the fact that season 3 (currently the last but hopefully with a new one on its way)  aired no later than January this year (2014 if you were to be in doubt...) so yeah it is pretty new in it... it is also different than the others... the stories is set in the time where knowledge had no compare toward today's knowledge.. no computers no easy access and certainly no cellphones...  this series though has taken the stories to the 21st century where all those things are in abundance. Where the other side of the planet isn't further than a click away... just look at this blog as an example... i have no idea where you are from but while you are reading this you are getting the thoughts and words from a danish woman.. that is only possible because of the internet that hits us with so much information every second... more than we often know what to do with... anyway i'm pretty sure i'm getting sidetracked here...

I love the adaption they made with this one.. it is absolutely brilliant.. (i'm using that word rather lot these days...) i love the way they made it possible to take a so well known story and still make it new, different and very much entertaining.. i mean there isn't a lot of episode they are rather long but hell i would have watched them all in a days worth if i had the time for it.. It is funny and clever and filled with excitement that keeps you stuck on it and wishing for more and more.. oh yeah i'm not a fan of the "you might be lucky to get a season 4 in 2016" thing that IMDb is showing me... I WANT MORE....!!!

okay i sound like i need help now.. maybe i do.. anywho... what on earth am i gonna watch now?

"what did just happen... did i just text a murderer?"

Crossing Jordan (2001-2007)

I am sorry for being so quiet lately... it is just that life altering, staying out of trouble and mostly watching series kinda make it hard on me to write all that much...

anywho... I finished Crossing Jordan today... again... i loved this series growing up and it is right there among my other favorite murder/crime series... i actually remember rushing home from school (at least when i went to school) just so i could catch the entire episode on tv.. what i love about it.. well there is the murder/crime aspect think we already established that i'm quite the fan of the genre but also the characters... mention this before to... you could have the greatest story in the world but if you don't have the characters to back it up it will fall through... and angry little girl like me loved the Jordan who clearly needed anger management and yet had this high amount of love and care for her family..

oh maybe i should explain what the show is about... just maybe..

Jordan Cavanaugh is a medical examiner who has meet well some difficulties in her job... luckily she gets a joboffering in Boston by an old colleague that know just how brilliant she is.. thing about Jordan is that she goes her own way and has quite the angry spirit.. probably because of her childhood trauma of loosing her mom... her brilliance in the job however is from her father the old cop who used to play murder/victim games with her to figure out not just who did it but why...

so there you have it.. that is basically what the show is about.. minus all the relations and stuff.. you have to watch that part yourself.. :P

Angela's Eyes (2006)

The episode i'm on shouldn't in my current series didn't work...  so i had to occupy my time with something else and for some reason movies didn't seem all that interesting. so what is a girl to do.. well went on my wanna watch list and took a look on the series i put on it. Just for laughs (or something) i can tell that at writing moment it is on the small amount of 315 series... so yeah i went to the bottom of the list (seems easier since it has a bad habit of growing) and took a look.. and there it was Angela's Eyes

oh you never head of this one.. not that surprising... Angela's Eyes only aired one season back in 2006 and well i encountered a fair share of bad words about it... anywho i found it intriguing and why not watch it then?

What is it about uhm well.. you have Angela, she's a FBI agent in a ehm special unit working with tough guy Leo and well geek boy Dozer... Angela is a kinda special agent though.. you see she can tell if you are lying (well on most parts) oh and she is the daughter of 2 of US's biggest traitors.. oh goodie

and nope there's no trailer for you this time.. there might be a few clips on youtube but what i have seen so far they aren't all that good at giving an idea on what this stuff is about..

anywho... i rather like the concept of this series.. reminds me of a nice mix between Alias and Lie To Me... i do give it people are right about the acting part however i am one of those extremely gifted people that can look beyond that fact if the story is good enough.. thing is that i since i was a little kid has been able to live myself into a story so full hearted that people sometimes makes fun and tell me i'm cute while watching stuff with me (or if i talk about it with them) because i am lost in it.. if the movie is interesting enough it is not possible to talk with me during it.. i just won't be listening.. anyway i got a bit of this while watching Angela's Eyes.. the story caught on something and i would have loved to see where the story would have gone after season 1.. this was however not to be and well i'm not gonna lye around crying about it.. there are a lot of other series that are better...

what this series did the most though was reminding me just how much i miss Lie To Me... sniffles...

Black Swan (2010)

So back to movie land... it's been a sort of long vacation for me as i have been doing series for quite a while now... actually have a post waiting to be finished... anywho... went to the bottom of my wanna-watch list (yes i'm weird like that) and there i found Black Swan. Litterally been on there for ages(well you know) and i have been told it would be a good watch... thing is i'm not overly happy about Natalie Portman whereas my buddy is a huge fan... Mila Kunis on the other hand i find kinda cool.. but the movie is clearly about Portman's role... soo yeah takes me a while sometimes...

anyway Black Swan... Well who doesn't know the story about the Swan Lake? okay i will tell but just because i can.. The Swan Lake is about a Princess turning into a white swan.. only way to turn her back is the true love stuff and when mister right turns up he is seduced by evil sister the black swan... making the white swan sad enough to commit suicide... sorry for spoilers there

Now that we got that down lets go on to the movie.. Black Swan is about a NY ballet group that are going to start the season with an interpretation of the Swan Lake... (swan lake is produced a lot in many many variations) For the production Nina is chosen for the lead role as both the white and the black swan.. However where her White Swan is perfect she is struggling a bit with the black swan. Mainly because she has trouble with letting herself go...

oh yeah right have to talk about it to.. well ehm where to start.. the movie isn't bad.. it is rather weird than anything else.. i do get what is going on in it though.. Nina is clearly a troubled young woman.. she has been psychology abused by her mom.. not in a deliberately mean way though.. Nina's mom just been living her dreams through her daughter in an extend that makes Nina strive to be absolutely perfect.. a thing most of us know to be impossible... giving this pressure to be perfect Nina's mind crumbles and she gets lost in various delusions (the fancy name for this is psychoses)...this is ultimately a struggle between her innocence and her desires. Or to link it to the ballet world her white and black swan.. thing is her innocence is not natural and only exist because of the constant pressure from her mom and the over protectiveness that comes of it.. underneath is the desires and fears of a young woman trying to be herself.. which i take is hard when mommy dearest tend to be sleeping in a chair next to your bed..

The movie does come with an interesting concept and i did enjoy it for the most parts.. the ballet dancers helping with the movie did a good job and well the actors weren't half bad either.. and the music.. well i can really be a sucker for classical music so i was all happy there.. hm really should get my act together and try going to the ballet one of these days..

Compulsion (2013)

You know about that thing about YouTube getting me into trouble...well yeah this is another fine example.. like i said in my last post i was doing a bit of surfing on the subject of Wentworth when YouTube was kind enough to suggest me to watch Heather Graham Snogging Carrie-Anne Moss... (i have absolutely no idea why YouTube keeps suggesting movies like that.. no sirrie)... anyway since i'm a major fan of Heather i watched it and i kinda liked it.. it was a bit weird and that curiosity thing kicked in.. so i figured out what movie it was so that i could watch the trailer...

ehm can you say HOOKED?

i mean look at that delicious food... really.. it almost made me hungry... even if there wasn't a good chance at looking at boobs trying to escape (which has high chance of happening in this one by the way) i still just simply had to watch.. i mean its food..

anywho where was i... (yes i actually had to get up and find myself some food...) the movie right.. hmm the movie... so yeah heather portraits this INSANE lady Amy that likes to cook and really dreams of having her own cooking show called Amy's Food for Love... don't know who she channeled here but it is very cute and insanely creepy... like every time she is in the kitchen pretending she is on TV i get a little scared... Anywho.. Amy finds out that her neighbor is the celebrity Saffron (play by the lovely Carrie-Anne.. surprise) a woman she has been in love with since childhood.. after Amy dumps her fiance in a rather disturbing way she starts obsessing with feeding Saffron who isn't overly happy about this... they do in some weird way start to come close like friends or maybe even lovers (as i already told they were snogging)

however... to me it feels like the movie wraps up way to quickly... you have this long build from strangers to friends and then all of a sudden Saffron goes missing and you really don't get a clue toward what actually happened or really why.. i got a small idea since the movie leaves a lot to self interpretation but i just i don't know it was just to fast.. like this long build that was quite interesting just hit an anticlimax and just rolled over and died... oh well at least there was some pretty things to distract you a lot along the way

and not even a small hint about them being 17 and 20 years older than me (oh my Heather has the same age as my mom...) they are some fine young women to look at... and trust me Carrie-Anne is absolutely adorable with her big glasses on...

Firefly (2002-2003)

I might have mentioned this but i'm kinda a big fan of Nathan Fillon... i find him quite funny and very talented.. so when i started looking at the series part of my wanna watch list it just seemed like the right time to start watching firefly... thing is i had already started watching it but then my precious (that would be my external HD) suffered a breakdown and was not to be recoved...

so we have gone way into the future... the earth is no more (at least i don't think so) and the verse (guess universe is to long a word) is controlled by the Alliance. In this world is a very special firefly (oh that would be a space ship), a firefly named Serenity. Serenity is the home of a very wacky crew lead by Captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds. Mal bought Serenity after the war that gave the alliance the power. He has along with him his "armybuddy" Zoe, her husband Wash, the mercenary Jayne and the young and truly adorable mechanic Kaylee oh and the companion Inara... and together they share a lot of adventure throughout the 'verse'... especially after taking on passengers...

i absolutely loooooove the humor in this show... and i find it more than sad that there is only one season.. i better get my fingers on the movie serenity just so i can get a small last fix of this thing XD

there is one thing about this series... as far i figured out there is one order the show was aired and another order that it was supposed to air in.... the later being the one on the boxset.. or that is what i seem to remember... this making it a quite discussed theme among watcher being that it is the wrong episode posting.. but so far i manged to watch 14 different episodes so i think i'm all good there XD

anywho where was i again... hm seems nowhere... bugger... well other than the humor (which is hilarious) there is this thing that i tend to always fall for in this land of the series... well written characters... in this case it might even be a small dose of really good casting.. i don't know how to really explain this so i'm gonna go with an introductions of the members of Serenity.. this also makes me practice getting some more photos on this dang thing :P

Met the one and only Captain Malcolm Reynolds also known as Mal.
Mal served in the war as said above. Afterwards he bought a firefly, a transportship and named it Serenity after the battlefield of his last fight. He sees the crew as his family and is very protective of them. Also he has chosen a new carer of a mostly gray nature. Yet for a criminal he has a very high sense of moral... oh and he just comes with some of the very best quotes
"i swear by

Zoe is the very much kickass second in command. Where Mal is kinda light in his way of being Zoe is more practical. Their time together in the war has made a very special bond between them.... one that Wash, Zoe's husband, is a bit jealous about.
Bringing us to Wash the insane yet brilliant pilot of the Serenity.
Every now and then he just comes with some funny things and then he fly around that firefly like a mad man...

"Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction"

" We live in a spaceship, dear"
The sweet and love Jayne... Jayne is a mercenary and boy does that man love his guns! And yes it is a funny picture i found of the man but i just found him so cute with this nice hat his mother made and sent to him... oh and when he is trying to trade "Vera" for "what Mal got" that was just absolutely priceless :)

So Inara is a companion which basically is a future version of a courtesan. She rents a shuttle and goes around doing legal business while the rest of the crew goes around doing there not so legal stuff... She do however care deeply about the rest of the crew and she seems to be quite happy about Mal ;)

And now to my absolute favorite character in this show... Kaylee, sweet adorable Kaylee.. she is just so damn cute.. seriously i just wanna go and hug her! She is sweet and innocent and really has the cutest smile ever.

she is the youngest member of the crew and it is very clear that the others treat her like a little sister protection wise. Let's just say that Mal gets more than one evil look when he hurts her feelings..

Now that is the original crew... in the very first episode Serenity is taking on passengers... some of these stays on the ship becoming a part of the crew...

this guy right here is Shepherd Books... Shepherd has just left the Southgate Abbey   to go see the "world"... However it has been suggested more than once that he is not a shepherd but you never get to a truth in this... though he is not really against shooting people.

When boarding in the first episode the nice doctor Simon comes along to.. bringing with him a well blind passengers. The blind passenger being his teenage sister River. Thing is Simon kinda kidnapped his River from a school/institute thing because she was sending him weird letters that made no sense. River is however somewhat weird... broken somehow.. which makes some right interesting things happens...
