A Perfect Ending (2012)

oh man that was a movieless weekend... that work thing.. it's gonna be good when i get used to it but boy that 1 hour drive home in a bus.. ZZzzz

anywho got the first few days of the week of.. yummi right.. and already i have munched through the all new episode of both Lost Girl and The Good Wife.. waiting for Castle to come to me sometime in the middle of tonight.. so i was like what to do now? (well i'm still kinda in that place XD) trying to figure out if i should just stay in series-land

however i have been looking forward to seeing A Perfect Ending... or that would be I FINALLY figured out what it was called... thing is i found the trailer for it waaaaay back but forgot in some hurried stuff to write down the name of the thing leaving me to spend hours on YouTube trying to relocate the trailer... which turn out to be quite difficult when you cant remember the damn name of the movie Ô.ô

so friday I found it.. don't even think i was looking for it but it showed up and this time i remembered to write the name down and even to add it to my wanna watch list... and now... i'm gonna watch :P just in case you thought i was just gonna go stay in whatever that thing above was about (oh i wish i had some smileys on this thing...)

A Perfect Ending... hm what is it about.. going into the movie all i kinda got out of the trailer was that suburban mom that are stuck in her everyday life and therefor hires a female prostitute to sleep with her... and then there was something about her having a secret and ehm yeah well the trailer actually had me kinda confused... might be what made me wanna see it so much

couldn't be the women know could it ;)

oh jokes aside... this is a production by Soul Kiss Films meaning it is an independent movie made by women to women... they are also the people behind Elena Undone just as a bonus info...

now the good part (i hope) hmm yeah well no surprises here i of cause liked the movie.. it even made it slightly hard at times to do my drawing on the side.. i just had to stop so i could oogle :P on the other hand it is a pretty straight forward movie with very little surprises in it.. it is a housewife goes on adventure thingy with a few changes here and there.. so yeah well..

but it is sooooo sweet and i especially liked the cut scenes where you see the emotion that the prostitute Paris feel.. or at least that is what i think it is.. to be honest the only thing that really bugged me was the choices on background music.. to me it didn't really fit.. but hm i don't know what should have played instead so it is not really an easy thing to criticize them on..

also in the beginning of the trailer the name and logo for Wolfe shows up.. to those who might not know... Wolfe is an american company specializing in sales of LGBT themed movies and have been around since 1985 according to their website. However to any European readers I feel I have to warn that you need to check up on import-rules before buying on the site since I know from experience that it can become quite expensive to import (but this girl just had to have Lost Girl season 1) anywho here is there website www.wolfevideo.com also they are so nice at Wolfe that they have a YouTube channel where they post trailers for a lot (if not all) the movies they sell at their site so if you are interested why not check out Wolfe Video
